JORDAN | CLASS OF 2017

When you photograph as many senior portrait sessions as we do, we see a lot of different clothing choices and expressions of personal style.  Occasionally you meet a senior that sets themselves apart from the rest, and Jordan is that girl.  She came in and just owned her style in a way that some adults have difficulty mastering!  A perfect mix of femininity, edginess, confidence, punk, and modern, Jordan's style matches seamlessly with her personality.

For Jordan's Ultimate session, we started at LMP.  We photographed all over the surrounding area: our grounds, the playhouse across the street, the Brannon-Heard House next door.  If that wasn't enough, we then finished up at the stable to capture her love of horses.

Overall, she was a breath of fresh air during a busy season.  Have an amazing senior year, Jordan!  You were an absolute pleasure to photograph!

BRADY | CLASS OF 2017

We have been fortunate enough to have operated in the same area for a long time now, which means we have been able to create lasting relationships with many families over the years.  Brady, a North Forsyth High School senior, is the youngest in the family and it would be an understatement to say that it is surreal that he will be graduating.  He and his family has been an absolute pleasure to know - they are completely adorable, athletic, clearly love each other to pieces, and are quick to crack a joke.

For Brady's Ultimate session, we started at our studio.  We really covered our bases with Brady, including taking him to the parking deck across the street with his car!  Let's just say we were channeling his inner "Fast and Furious".  We finished up at Lake Lanier, which eventually lead to some shirtless pictures since Brady is definitely not shy!

We love you and your family, Brady!  We know you are going to totally kill senior year and go on to bigger and better things!

HUDSON | CLASS OF 2017

During the hectic summer senior portrait season, it is always nice to be able to go to a new location and be creative.  Hudson's family operates Cottage Hill Farm in Cumming, and we were lucky enough to take the majority of Hudson's portraits for his Ultimate session on his family's property.  The session started off like most senior portrait sessions, but then it took a much more exciting turn.  We definitely had our share of action: trying to beat the thunderstorm that was about to arrive, horses have other plans than having their portrait taken (including trying to steal Linda's hat), encountering impressive mud and puddles, and finally having the skies explode half-way through our time at the stables.

Like most high school boys, Hudson arrived at our studio, mostly reserved.  But once he was in his element at the stable, you could see how at ease he was being around the horses.  We had so much fun meeting each horse and seeing their individual personalities (especially Percy).  All of the horses seemed like they were his friend and there was a mutual respect between them that was really touching.

Have an amazing senior year, Hudson!  It was such a pleasure to meet you and your family (both human and animal alike)!

MIC & TD | CLASS OF 2017

Well, we have made it to our last senior model session of the summer - and we packed TWO seniors into this one!  Mic & TD are twin brothers that attend Buford High School, but at first glance, you may never tell that they are related!

After spending a few hours together with these Division 1 football athletes, there is no doubt these two are brothers. 1) They are both crazy athletic.  TD plays running back and linebacker and is committed to playing football at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Mic is committed to playing quarterback at East Carolina. 2) They are low-key.  Both come off as quiet by nature but after a few minutes of talking about Buford, football, and the lake, you can tell that these two have a lot more going on underneath the cool exterior.

Mic & TD are not just football champions.  They are life champions as well.  Best of luck this season and in the future guys, we know your stars shine bright in everything that you do!

KRISTEN | CLASS OF 2017

We definitely saved the most extensive senior model session for someone special.  We met Kristen through the yearbook program at Buford High School and she immediately made an impression.  She is clearly gorgeous, but she is also crazy intelligent and poised beyond her years.  As a dancer, she has a very graceful, lovely way about her that made her a real joy to photograph.  We started at LMP, and then traveled down Atlanta's iconic Piedmont Park to capture the greenery and skyline - and even met some policemen on horseback that we kind enough to take a picture with us!  We finished up the session at The Goat Farms Arts Center to take advantage of the unique feel of urban decay and history.  Kristen simply shined.

As we progressed through our session, it really struck us how Kristen comes from a tight-knit, supportive family and how this provided such a firm foundation from which she can catapult herself to a bright future.  Her mother sung her praises throughout the session, joked around with us, shared memories from Kristen's family.  Our favorite detail from this session was the ring that Kristen wore - a custom piece made from her grandmother's wedding band.
